Student Work

︎ ABDA Awards 2024, Best Designed Student Book - Longlist

An anthology exploring typography’s historical influence on cultural aesthetics and its wider social and political impact. This volume aims to position designers as co-authors, collaborators and facilitators, the puppet masters of the cultural zeitgeist. Through collaboration and co-authorship this publication presents the unique perspectives of Master of Communication Design students and the experiences that have shaped their typographic discernment. Their critical analyses on typography for publication exemplifies the influence designers have on ones understanding and visual sensibility.

Exhibition Identity

The Museums and Collections team at The University of Melbourne sought a dynamic, creative and fluid identity to support the communication of the inaugural residency by Dr. David Sequeira. David Sequeira’s curation and takeover of the museum, actively allowed him to decolonise the gallery space.

Student Work / Honours Thesis

A publication that explores mnemonics and its manifestations in visual culture. The book acts as an extension of my theoretical research, showcasing a collection of images from my family archive. Each spread in the publication is treated as a fragment of memory, with no chronology but a fluidity similar to that of a Neorealist film.

Student work / Brand Identity concept

GenderQuest is a vibrant peer mentoring network to connect with like-minded trans and gender diverse peers through games.

The identity visuals are inspired by video game loading screens. A loading screen is a glimpse into an adventure, the calm before embarking on a long and exciting quest. The video game controller button retained from the previous identity represents our ability to forge unique paths and adventures.
