I would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation who are the traditional custodians of the land on which I live and work. I recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded and pay my respects to elders, past and present, and emerging.

Spirale

Student Work

‘Spirale was an international artists’ magazine for young art and is now one of the most important records of how art developed in the 50s.’ — Lars Müller Publishers

My project focused on spirals found within sculptural art specifically light paintings by Pablo Picasso (1949) and Spiral Jetty by Robert Smithson (1970) Each image was printed using the Cyanotype printing technique. The poems included are taken from the pages of Picasso’s personal diaries. This project included the design of 3 limited edition covers and the design of the internal layout system.
